Jeni Howland
Jeni has been practising yoga for over 15 years. She has studied and practised many branches including Hatha, Ashtanga, Tantra, Iyengar and Kundalini. She has had the privilege of gathering knowledge and guidance from yoga teachers in India, Thailand, the UK and Australia. She completed a Yoga Teacher Training course, accredited by Yoga Alliance and went on to train as a Somatic Movement Teacher with Tanya Fitzpatrick and with James Knight. With a breadth of knowledge including qualifications as a dance teacher, fitness instructor and a gymnastics coach, Jeni guides Yoga classes with keen attention to physical alignment, somatic awareness and holistic wellbeing.
Description
This Yoga Workshop with Jeni will focus on mobilising, strengthening and finding space around the chest, shoulders and neck with the accompaniment of relevant delicious doTERRA Essential Oils including a Heart-lifting Rose blend and detoxifying Wild Orange.
THE YOGA
This practice will explore movement around Anahata: the Heart Chakra: the root of kindness, gratitude and love. Through a physical Yoga practice we will explore alignment and strength of the shoulders and will play with postures that mobilise and open the ribs and the shoulders. We will also work with some mobilisation techniques to free tension around the neck and shoulders.
This workshop is suitable for all levels but some previous experience of Yoga practice is recommended.
THE AROMA
The Oils used in this workshop will perfectly complement the theme of heart opening and gratitude. Using only the purest and beneficial oils - doTERRA Pure Natural Therapeutic Grade Essential Oils including Wild Orange for it's zesty energy and detoxifying properties, Lavender for it's calming and soothing effects, and a Rose blend to elevate the Heart.
To ensure that you get the most out of these exquisite oils, they will be available for inhaling and applying to the skin during the class. They will also be available to purchase after the class should you want to create your own AROMA YOGA experiences at home. THE VENUE
This workshop will be held at 6 Ways Yoga Studio in Charlton Kings, Cheltenham. This peaceful bespoke Yoga Studio is equipped with mats and blocks and props and please do bring your own if you have them.
Please bring an extra jumper and socks for Savasana and relaxation parts of the class.
