Mindfulness improves our ability to observe things as they are. It requires us to practice in a non-judgmental way with an open-handed attitude. As we learn to let go the Fight or Flight mode in Mindfulness practices, we bring more peace within us.
This 3-hour workshop aims to make a peaceful beginning the year. To bring more Mindfulness into your everyday life. In this workshop, Vanessa will share some of the foundations of Mindfulness practice. Through different forms of practices, such as sitting meditation, yoga, lecture and journaling, you will develop the ability to understand yourself through the body and mind.
Workshop includes:
- Sitting Meditation
- Yoga
- Deep Body Relaxation
- Self-Discovery (Lecture & Journaling)
Please bring:
- yoga mat
- journal book and a pen
Everyone is welcome, with or without any yoga experience.

About Vanessa Wong:
Vanessa started her Mindfulness practice in 2016 when she had her first Yoga teacher training. Mindfulness has provided her with new ways to face the lessons life throws at her and deepened her understanding of herself, her body and mind. It has been a great support for her emotional needs which brings more harmony into her life.
She is dedicated to integrate Mindfulness into her teaching, practice and daily life. She started teaching Yoga and Mindfulness in Stavanger since 2018. Her teaching focuses on grounding and self-understanding, which are the keys to a better connection with yourself and others.
