Join us for a friendly and challenging Beginners yoga class.
These classes are for those with no experience or those who may have lapsed over time. Or those who have been in classes online and want to get back into the studio. I will modify and adapt poses for different levels of experience. This class is not appropriate in the first 15 weeks of pregnancy

Iyengar yoga emphasises detailed correctness in the poses and develops your awareness and understanding. Key elements are attention to alignment, specific sequencing of postures, the use of props, modifications, and timings.

It is up to the individual to assess whether you are ready for the class that you have chosen. If you suffer from specific injuries or disease it is best to consult with your physician first.
Similarly if you are pregnant, please let me know in advance of class. The practice of yoga asanas requires you – the practitioner – to gauge the safety of your practice within your personal physical limitations. It is better to build up slowly than to force and strain.
