The focus of the class is an introduction to meditation in motion where slightly more advanced meditation skills are incorporated into the class. The class format will begin, rather than end, with Yoga Nidra. This allows you to start in a deep meditative state. The class continues with an intentional combination of gentle asana as well as meditation. The challenge is to be able to maintain a meditative focus (alpha and perhaps even theta brain states) while doing the more active part of yoga. With the eventual goal of being able to live your life, even off the mat and outside the yoga studio, in the moment. While this course is appropriate for beginners there is a strong emphasis on meditation.

Sean’s class meets Wednesdays at 5:30 PM.
