Yin Yoga is a slow, meditative practice that targets the body’s deepest tissues, including ligaments, joints, bones, and the fascia network. By holding grounding poses for longer periods, it gently applies light stress through gravity to enhance flexibility and balance energy flow. Rooted in the concept of 'Yin and Yang,' the sequences of postures are meant to stimulate the channels of the subtle body - known as meridians in Chinese medicine and as nadis in Hatha yoga. This practice encourages turning inward, calming the mind, and promoting emotional and mental clarity by aligning body, mind, and soul.
