I was born and raised in NY and began my yoga practice during high school with Bikram yoga. I have been practicing yoga for over 15 years and completed her 200 Hr YTT certification through Yoga Alliance in October 2020. I am also certified in Kundalini Breath Work + Meditation through the Himalayan Institute. I have built a dynamic foundation of ancient yoga tools + techniques to bring my students balance. I have taught yoga at studios, gyms, private clients, kids programs, prenatal clients, and has her own online yoga business, Vow To Bow.
My goal as a yoga guide is to lead students on a journey of self-discovery through movement. I believes that yoga can shift mindsets, bringing people happiness on and off the mat. Most importantly, I value practice over perfection and love to students shine after every session.
Description
Ashtanga vinyasa is a rigorous form of yoga, which builds strength and flexibility. The practice has a set sequence of asanas where breath and movement become synchronized.
This coordination of breath and movement while working through asanas builds up an internal heat that improves blood circulation, thus releasing toxins, impurities and relieving pain from the body. This energetic class develops focus and stamina, and keeps you in shape both mentally and physically.
