Hello, my name is Fabiola Alejandra. I share my gifts and passions, through the holistic world—a space where the mind, body and spirit live in perfect union. I began to learn new ways of relating to myself and my internal world between 2020
and 2021 after a super challenging and transformative process for me, a moment that led me to investigate disciplines and teachings from the East such as Reiki, Mindfulness, Meditation, Yoga, Ayurveda and more. It also inspired me to co-create safe spaces, full of love, healing and growth and free of judgment, for those around me (@tusafeplace_). I have been blessed to study in schools and learn from teachers who encourage me to continue contributing to individual and collective well-being. Among them are @IIN Institute of Integrative Nutrition, @terapeutaholisticapr Dr. Vanessa Negrón, @aeroyoga_puertorico @bodhiyogaschool and @trueyogaschoolindia where I recently completed 300 hours of training in Ladakh, India—incorporating Hatha Yoga, Vinyasa Yoga, Pranayama, Mantras, Yoga Nidra, and Dance and Embodiment of chakras to my expansive toolbox.
In my free time I enjoy sharing simple reminders through Always Reminders, a podcast that was born thanks to my love for deep and meaningful conversations and curiosity about topics that are not usually talked about on a daily basis.

Description
Yoga Nidra is a deep relaxation and meditation technique that originated in India thousands of years ago. It is also known as “conscious sleep” or “yogi sleep” because it is performed in a state of consciousness similar to sleep, but with the mind awake and alert.
During a Yoga Nidra session, you usually lie in a comfortable position, such as savasana. The practitioner is then guided through a series of visualizations and affirmations to relax the body and mind. The objective is to witness a state of calm and meditative consciousness, where you can obtain greater mental clarity, reduce stress and improve the quality of sleep.
This tool has also been used to treat post-traumatic stress disorder, depression, and anxiety.
