Renee’s journey with yoga began when she sought a gentle and holistic approach to complement her active lifestyle as a competitive endurance athlete and long distance runner and quickly discovered the transformative nature of yoga. For Renee, yoga isn’t about another form of exercise, but rather a deep practice of self connection that has brought healing and growth to her everyday life.
She is a passionate advocate for trauma informed practices and her inclusive classes are well loved for their physical and mental inquiry, cultivation of curiosity, courage, strength and sense of humor with inspiring playlists.
Description
Challenge yourself on the mat, build strength and connect to your innate power! This motivating class will build core strength, stability, and flexibility to support an active lifestyle at any stage of life. Beginning with stretching and yoga warmups, then transitioning to building heat and opening to the transformative power that comes from leaning into the fire. Space is created for introspection, while building a functional understanding of the connection between physical body and emotional well-being. The class will offer progressions, and is designed to be accessible to every body, wherever you are on your journey.
