Helen is a registered and qualified Level 1 Yoga Australia Teacher after completing 350hrs of Yoga Teacher Training.
Since then, she has completed courses and workshops on Restorative, Chair and Yoga for Kids.
She continues her journey to grow her knowledge in many other aspects of yoga including Breath Work (Pranayama), Meditation.
Her goal is to live yoga and provide her students with an enlightening yoga experience.
Description
Chair yoga is a gentle form of yoga practiced while seated, and at times standing and using the chair or wall for balance.
It is a low impact form of excerise taking pressure off the joints while stretching and toning the body. An accessible and achievable way to practice yoga for older adults and anyone with reduced mobility or recovering from injuries.
In this 35 minute session we unite movement to breath and finish with a short meditation making this a mindful practice.
