Whoa - legs and arms going in all directions but I hope you’re enjoying learning this ancient form. The Wudang Mountains consist of a small mountain range in the northwestern part of Hubei, China, just south of Shiyan. They are home to a famous complex of Taoist temples and monasteries associated with the god Xuanwu. I began learning the Wudang forms during lockdown and love the way they make me really feel the energy and the strength I feel in my body. It feels very strange and different from our Daoyin qigong practice which is much more static but once you “get it” and enjoy the way the body feels I hope you too will love it and lose the frustration that is perfectly natural when you’re learning something new.
