Description

Friday 10.30 am
Ahoy Mums, Dad's, caregivers of little ones.
Join Liss (Larissa ) on Fridays at 10.30 am for parents and bubs. A gentle, whole body strength and mobility class aimed at building foundational strength with a focus on core and pelvic floor connection, balancing and strengthening the posterior chain to support a healthy back, pelvic stability and foundational strength in the body. This is particularly important for postpartum mothers as the body adapts and changes through pregnancy, birth and postpartum, carrying, breastfeeding, and being nap trapped. If you know you know.

This class is designed with Mummas or care givers in mind.. A relaxed and welcoming environment, where Babies are welcome to come along to class while Mum, Dad or caregiver gets to carve out some time for re connecting with thier body, releasing some feel good endorphins and connecting with others.

A 45 minute class with a combination of diaphragmatic breathing, pelvic floor and core connection breath, functional strength and mobility using weight to balance out body muscle patterns and Pilates style mat work, including bubbas in the fun when ever we need.

What to bring. Let's be honest babies are most of the time unpredictable so in a mums and bubs class we work with and around the littlest members. For this reason it's great to come prepared with a pram or bouncer so they can watch or nap as well as a baby carrier as we do get creative and do some baby wearing exercises also. Any other things you need for you and your baby eg drink, towel, snacks.

We hope we can bring a second time slot of this class to the time table. Also if there is enough demand we would love to employ a child minder so that we can help give care givers some time for them while their little ones are having fun and being cared for.

One of our core values at Flow Yoga and movement is bringing people together in a welcoming inclusive space. Parenthood can be isolating sometimes so combining movement and time with other parents is a great way to carve out time and fill your cup. Both emotionally and physically we have time for a cupper and chat after class xx
