Are you tired of recurring pain and stiffness in your neck, shoulders, and upper back? Or do you have clients or friends that you know deal with pain or discomfort in these areas?

Join us for the Flying Heart workshop and discover relief and freedom from discomfort through Yoga and bodywork.

Who is this workshop for?

All lovers of Yoga and movement at any level of practice are welcome.
If you are currently experiencing neck and shoulder pain, do not let this be a hindrance to signing up! This work is meant for YOU! All practices will be adapted to meet your needs.

This work is a special treat for bodyworkers, physical therapists, energy healers, and anatomy geeks seeking support for your own challenges or to better serve your clients.

What can you expect?

This workshop has two parts:

Morning Yoga Workshop: 11:00 - 12:30

Embark on a journey of therapeutic poses and pranayama designed to target and reduce pain and stiffness in the neck, shoulders, and upper back.

Consider it en embodiment laboratory to apply newfound knowledge to your personal practice and when working with others.

Even if you don’t struggle with upper body pain, expect to explore exciting neural and kinetic pathways to sustain takeoff and gravity-surf your way through inversions and arm balances. You will love your shoulders in a whole new way after this practice.

Afternoon Bodywork Workshop: 2:00 - 4:30 pm

Here you'll delve into the transformative power of Bliss Bodywork through a hands-on practicum focused on the functional anatomy of neck, upper back, arms and shoulders.

Experience the joy of giving and receiving as you learn how to heal and rejuvenate the neck, shoulders, and upper back.

You’ll get to experience the relief and freedom that comes from this work first-hand. Say goodbye to a stiff neck, tight upper back, painful shoulders, and achy wrists.

But it doesn't stop there.

This workshop is all about empowering you to take control of your well-being.

You'll discover self-bodywork techniques and Yoga movements that will strengthen and release your own upper back, neck, and shoulders.

Plus, you’ll gain the knowledge and confidence to communicate your needs more effectively to trained bodyworkers or physical therapists, making your buck go further, and getting your relief quicker!

As a bonus for Yoga teachers, you can gain valuable hands-on assists for Yoga poses, enriching your teaching repertoire to deepen your connection with your students.

Why invest in The Flying Heart workshop?

Imagine the impact on your life when you can bid farewell to recurring pain, stiffness, and limitations. Or what about when YOU get to be the person who helps someone else move into greater freedom from pain?

This workshop offers you a chance to save precious time by having the tools at your fingertips to address shoulder problems effectively.

Equip yourself with the skills to heal yourself and support others in preventing and recovering from neck and shoulder injuries, leading to a healthier personal movement and self-care practice, and potentially becoming your client’s GO-TO person for these issues.

You’ll get a chance to uplift your mood and nurture meaningful connections by overcoming the limitations imposed by a stiff upper back and painful shoulders. In this space, what has perhaps been seen as a limitation, is now the loving center of our practice.

At our last Bliss Bodywork workshop, everyone left with a HUGE smile on their face, having learned more about themselves through the healing power of touch held in a nurturing and fun community container!

What past participants are saying:

“This workshop was absolutely worth the time and accessibly priced.

Anything that Andrew shares is a treat. His energy, passion, openness and honesty really make for genuine experiences and connections.

I would recommend it to anyone really, definitely not just for teachers or Yoga practitioners.”

Some frequent questions:

Do I have to attend both the morning and afternoon sessions?

When was the last time you took a WHOLE DAY to DEVOTE yourself to nourishing your body through movement, breath, and therapeutic touch?

If you can only attend one of the two sessions, we understand, but we encourage you to think of this as a treat for yourself.

Furthermore, by engaging with the morning practice, you will have already begun internalizing the pathways we will be working on in the afternoon. Also, by spending morning practice time together, your body will feel more secure and open to give and receive touch.

Plus, we have lots of fun together.

I am currently injured or in pain. Is this workshop right for me?

As mentioned earlier, this work is in fact targeted to meet your exact current needs. I’m also very receptive to listening to you and creating adaptations that can work FOR you at this moment in your body’s journey.

This work is intended to be inclusive, not exclusive.

Do I need to be a Yoga teacher or bodyworker to attend?

In the morning Yoga practice, you will be encouraged and guided on how to practice at your body’s honest edges. Being a seasoned or new practitioner doesn’t change this.

The afternoon practicum is an open invitation to anyone who is open to giving and receiving consensual, therapeutic touch and open communication about every body’s needs.

Do I need a partner to attend?

No! You can attend solo and make new friends there!

Even if you attend with a partner, you will be encouraged to work with different participants throughout the workshop. The more you get to experience a number of different bodies and different sources of touch, the more well-versed you will be in the material by the end of the workshop.

For a limited time, we are offering a $100 peso discount per person if you sign up with a partner for both workshops. Valid through Monday, July 3.
