Intro to Therapeutic Tremoring to Regulate the Nervous System

Do you ever feel as if you are on edge and almost as if the pent-up energy from stressors are always there? Movements for therapeutic tremoring will provide you a body-based experience that will empower you with the ability to release tension and trauma through doing what your body is meant to do. Learning Therapeutic tremoring can put you on a path towards healing. What’s so inspiring about this kind of shaking movement is that it doesn’t require talking about an event, feeling, or issue, and so it overcomes the language barriers that can bring up added stress.

The workshop is 90 mins. 30 mins of theory 60 mins of movements into therapeutic tremoring

After the session, deliberately look for new growth in your day to day life:

Stress levels
Tension & pain
Freedom of movement
Energy levels
Sleep & dreams
Emotional expression
Mind & thinking
Creativity
Relationship with others
Groundedness & Centeredness
Presence & awareness
Sense & vitality anything else you notice…

Living in a chronically dysregulated state can lead to compromised immunity, poor sleep patterns, challenged digestion, difficulty concentrating, strained relationships and more.

Calm your nervous system, and let go of sympathetic activation.

Therapeutic Tremoring is a somatic based practice that focuses on regulating the nervous system by working to release deep layers of muscular tension due to tension, stress, anxiety, trauma, and PTSD, that everyday exercise isn’t able to release. This long held tension could be effecting your mental, emotional, and physical state of being, not realizing that you are living each day in a state of chronic stress/hyperarousal.

Just like how animals tremor and shake to regulate their nervous system from a stressful event, we too need to embrace this natural response. We have grown in a society where tremors and shaking is something that we want to suppress by obtaining some kind of composure, when it should be a part of our natural way in moving through what just happened from a physical level, directly working with the mind/body connection and nervous system regulation.
