We will begin with a short yin yoga session - holding floor based postures for longer to prepare the body for the stillness of yoga nidra. Yin yoga targets your deep connective tissues, like your fascia, ligaments, and joints. It’s slower and more meditative, giving you space to turn inward and tune into both your mind and the physical sensations of your body.
Yoga Nidra is an ancient art and science that takes you on a guided meditative journey through consciousness to an effortless state of being between wakefulness and deep sleep. Yoga Nidra is a practice of non-doing and is sometimes referred to as yogic sleep.
