Julia Haw RYT 200 and NSCA Certified PT Julia Haw obtained her personal training certification through the NSCA in 2015 and has trained clients privately respectively in Chicago, New York, Cambodia and Michigan. In Brooklyn, she began leading bootcamps and held the role of accountability coach at a women’s gym in 2018, then went on to work with Park Fitness BK, a women-owned studio, leading 7 weekly abdominal and Total Body Sculpt fitness classes. She led Pilates and Sculpt classes at the YMCA in Kalamazoo Michigan and taught Hatha Yoga and Heated Yoga with Down Dog Yoga Center in Kalamazoo, Michigan as well. Haw led the daily yoga class at Suan Mokkh Vipassana retreat center in August of 2023, and has taught on and off with Yoga Space Siem Reap since August of 2022. In 2019 Julia began a daily meditation practice, which guided her to obtain a yoga and meditation certification at Chinmay Yoga School in Dharamshala, India in the beginning of 2020. Since this highly transformative experience, she has begun instructing yoga in both private and public settings. Haw views yoga as a continuous, lifelong dedicated practice leading to true liberation. Her teaching methodologies and path of service focus on breath-work, sutras, meditation technique and traditional Hatha Yoga. Her practice is inclusive, designed with modifications to accommodate all ages and genders 18+.
