The Healing Circle

I came to yoga in a life that didn’t feel like my own, drawn to change without fully understanding the depths of what yoga offers. Over time, yoga revealed a path to connect with my authentic self, and, more importantly, to connect with others and the world around me. Yoga teaches us about the deep bonds we share with all beings, nurturing compassion, care, and respect for this universe. To me, asana practice is about moving toward freedom—freedom from limitations we place on ourselves and from distractions that pull us away from inner peace. This sense of interconnectedness and liberation is what makes teaching so rewarding; it’s an opportunity to share a practice that opens hearts, fosters resilience, and supports others in finding their own path toward freedom. Alongside yoga, my Zen Buddhist practice has strengthened my focus on mindful awareness and compassionate living. My yoga journey began with Vinyasa, yet over time, I shifted towards Hatha, with an emphasis on stillness, patience, and the breath. I mostly teach Hatha, focusing on pranayama and meditation to help others cultivate presence and peace within, joining in a journey toward greater freedom and self-discovery.
