Together on this 8-week course we will explore the foundations of yoga, reflecting on its meaning and how to integrate practice into everyday life. Shaped by a reflection on the 7 chakras, this course will focus on the meaning of yoga as a joining of mind and body.
Each session will involve a short discussion of an element of yogic practice, followed by some breathing exercises (pranayama) and movement (asanas). There will be time at the end for participants (yogis) to ask questions.
No previous experience is required, and yogis are invited to leave their expectations and their egos at the door. Together we will cultivate a space that supports every body on its particular journey.
