Mindful Yoga blends the wisdom of Alignment Yoga with qualities of mindful awareness to guide students in the discovery of renewed connection and gentle release of tension patterns. The Monday evening class will center around the exploration of embodied somatic movement exercises and deep relaxation, along with the slower elements of mindful yoga.
This gentle yet intentional exploration focuses on the experience and process within our body rather than the outward expression or end result, untangling the knots of accumulated stress and bringing us into a deeper sense of ease and wellbeing.
No experience necessary. Come give it a try! All levels of experience will benefit. Poses and techniques are taught in progressions so you can explore from a place that feels right for you.
Please bring your own yoga mat. All other props will be provided unless you wish to bring your own from home.
