Description

This intergenerational workshop is open to children and adults ages 5-105!

Pebble Meditation is a beloved practice for all ages. Inspired by the late Vietnamese meditation master, Thich Nhat Hanh, registrants will explore 4 essential qualities of mindfulness through the use of pebbles and visualization. We will also learn a corresponding song to inspire connection with the practice! Registration includes a copy of the hardcover book A Handful of Quiet: Happiness in Four Pebbles, 4 pebbles to practice with, and a muslin pouch we will personalize using colorful permanent markers.

8 registrant limit. Each registrant will receive ONE book and a set of materials to bring home as described above. Prepayment by credit card is required to secure your spot.

This workshop is appropriate for adults, teens, and children ages 5+. Adults and teens are welcome to register as solo participants.

Younger children under 13 are encouraged to participate with a trusted grownup at no extra cost and work together sharing ONE set of materials.

Please register minor children in parent or guardian's name and email the instructor at contemplative.ed@gmail.com with child's name, age, and whether they will be participating independently or with an adult.

If you wish to register more than one person with their own set of materials, or have other questions, please contact the instructor at contemplative.ed@gmail.com or 608-345-1597 for guidance.
