Using the internationally-acclaimed Birthlight yoga techniques and massage, classes are suitable from 6 weeks, to wiggly (approximately 9 months).

Format
10.30 Get settled and welcome circle
10.45 (ish) Warm up, post-natal and baby yoga/massage, relaxation
12.00 Finish and time for chat, go over anything you've missed, tummy muscle checks and individual help

These are lively classes where you and baby can play! Each class supports a different aspect of your baby’s health and development. They promote your baby’s sleep and relaxation. The session also encourages baby’s strength and flexibility. They support baby’s immune, respiratory and digestive systems, providing vital input in the first years of growth, and shaping brain and nervous system development.

The yoga inspires confident handling of your baby and child, helping to enhance communication and bonding. It’s a special time for you and your little ones, full of fun, songs, movements and massage.

There is always time for post-natal yoga, pilates and relaxation for you too! Graded exercises are suitable for all levels including C-section birth mums, to help you heal and recover after the birth of your baby, and to help to relieve your aches and pains. Classes strengthen your body, calm your emotions and aid you to feel more energised. Babies love to watch their mums do yoga!

These sessions are for all postnatal women and people, of any size, shape and ability. This is an inclusive, supportive and non-judgemental space, where we support all forms of feeding and respectful parenting. Dads, partners and other caregivers are welcome to come along (please note the yoga will have a post-natal focus).
