Description

This series is specifically geared toward children entering kindergarten. Kindergarten is one of the most important years for building a foundation of learning. Studies have shown that children who participate in yoga & mindfulness have an advantage at regulating their emotions and calming their bodies. Together we will explore mindfulness, breathwork, yoga poses, stretching, and other activities that focus on Kindergarten Readiness Skills such as developing skills through play, identifying & expressing feelings, working independently, self-advocacy, following directions, self regulation, cooperating and working with others, problem solving and skill review. This program is led by a Kindergarten Teacher with 22 years of teaching
