So What Is Pilates? Pilates is a form of exercise which concentrates on strengthening the body with an emphasis on core strength. This helps to improve general fitness and overall well-being. Similar to Yoga, Pilates concentrates on posture, balance and flexibility
This class offers a modern twist to a classic workout. Focusing on a variation of the Pilates mat workout, we will use props such as light hand weights and contemporary movements to help develop a strong inner core while sculpting long, lean muscles.
Hot Pilates is a challenging full-body workout using the Pilates principles. Its high intensity, low impact format is designed to strengthen muscles without the pounding of high impact workouts. Of course, as the name suggests, it's taught in a hot space and it's going to make you sweat!
