ABOUT THE WORKSHOP –

In Sanskrit, “Asana” means “seat,” this seat representing a place of peaceful acceptance and the ability to remain.

In yoga we often seek comfort or a good-feel stretch in our body that asanas may provide, but the meaning of peaceful acceptance goes even deeper. If you’re interested in exploring this deeper experience, this workshop is for you.

In this workshop, we will…
- Warm up the body with a vinyasa flow
- Explore peaceful acceptance in Kapotasana (Pigeon Pose)
- Enjoy guided Pranayama to invite a deep, fully aware and peaceful breathing that will assist us in movement as much as in stillness
- Allow for our body to learn slowly where is that most unique place of Asana in our own body
- Learn how to use props like straps, blocks, and bolsters to support your body’s unique needs

In Asana it is described one can meditate, and with that there will be few meditations offered while in the pose. There will also be the opportunity to join in Mantra Chant for peace and connection to wholeness.

We will end with sweet deep rest in Shavasana.

This workshop is open to everyone.

Our wish is for this session to gift you with new depths of loving your unique way of being in yoga, and that you may find your new sweet taste of being in Asana.

We warmly invite you to experience this transformative workshop.
