Gentle yoga with props

Megan Smith
Megan’s journey with yoga began with a deep calling to heal and reclaim her life after years of struggle with addiction, anxiety, and depression. Through the practice, she found a union of mind, body, and spirit that allowed her to tap into her infinite potential and become the co-creator of her reality. After completing her 200-hour training at Front Range Community College in 2015 and 300-hour at The River Yoga in 2016, Megan fosters spaces for others to discover their true nature and expand into their fullest selves. In her classes, students are invited to ground down, breathe deep, and move through the practice with intention. Dance is another passion that Megan has studied throughout her life that is reflected in her flowy sequences and hybrid yoga and dance classes. She believes we are all dancers at heart and when we find the courage to embody our unique movement expression, we harness our power to move through life with more confidence, joy, and love.

Description

This yoga helps to calm the nervous system, release tension from deep within the body, and leave you feeling peaceful, calm and relaxed.
The postures are supported by yoga props, that way the body can melt into the support of the props, releasing tension and letting go of any tightness or trauma in the body.
This practice helps you to focus on the present, getting very still and quieting the mind while restoring the body.
All levels are welcome!
