Daniel Cabezas
Daniel grew up in the northern suburbs of Sydney, Australia but now currently resides in Melbourne, Australia. His yoga journey began at 18 when, by chance, he wandered into a Jivamukti Yoga studio. Since then, he tried many different styles and teachers but always gravitated back to the Jivamukti method and has found himself inspired by the likes of Jules Febre, Yogeswari, and Ruth Lauer-Maneti. Daniel is now an Advanced Certified Jivamukti and Yin Yoga Teacher. Outside of the studio he works as a ZenThai Shiatsu Massage Therapist and studies Psychology at Monash University in Melbourne.

Description

THE JIVAMUKTI METHOD IS GROUNDED IN THE ORIGINAL MEANING OF THE SANSKRIT WORD ASANA AS “SEAT, CONNECTION” – RELATIONSHIP TO THE EARTH.
EARTH IMPLIES ALL OF LIFE.
Jiva = individual soul
Mukti = liberation
Jivamukti mean liberations while living! It is the practice and possibility of recognizing our enlightenment in this lifetime.
Founded in 1984 by East Village authors, artists, activists Sharon Gannon and David Life with the mission of compassion in action, through spiritual study and its various practices.
Jivamukti Yoga is one of the 9 recognized methods of Hatha yoga taught in the world today.

All levels are welcome!
