Pink Street: Online Queer Yoga and Social Online

Amy Bullard
I’m Amy and I’m currently a trainee yoga teacher with Susanna Barkataki, where we focus on yoga for social justice and re-indigenisation. I’m a mixed Indian & British woman of colour, I’m neurodivergent and I’m queer. I live in York with my partner and our little family of rodents. With my partner, Jay, we run our small business The Teapot Collective that focuses on supporting individuals, communities and organisations to implement a trauma-informed approach and support them with equity and inclusion work.
In 2020, during the resurgence of the Black Lives Matter Movement, with some of my friends, we founded York Anti Racist Collective (YARC). We are a community group that centres global majority people in York, focusing on healing through creative practice, building community and connection.
I’m passionate about community, healing, social justice, re-indigenisation/decolonisation and yoga. Yoga excites me and gives me the hope I need to move through this world. Yoga is a detailed framework, an ancient gift, we can use together for collective liberation.
Description
Come home to yourself with 30 minutes of accessible yoga with Amy (minimal movement and more focused on centering practices). Then come home to queer community with a one-hour social led by Anna.
