Acu-Yin is a practice that combines two disciplines: acupressure and Yin Yoga.

Both techniques aim to improve and balance the circulation of "Qi". In terms of TCM(Traditional Chinese Medicine), when the Qi circulation is stagnated, physical and psychological imbalance, disharmony in the body, and even disease will occur.

Insufficient or overuse of muscles, repetitive exercise, emotional issues, or poor diet can cause Qi stagnation in the body. The tension accumulated in the meridians will increase the retention of toxins in the physical body and weaken the immune system.

The passive, long-staying posture in Yin Yoga is an effective way to stretch the meridians. We can increase physical awareness and enhance respiratory function from the practice, it also is a great form of meditation.

When we combine Yin yoga and Acupoint massage together, it will have a multiplier effect, help release Qi flow into the meridians, and nourish all systems and organs. We will strike a balance between emotion and overall physical functional comfort.

Props needed: a bolster(two pillows), two blocks(thick books), two tennis ball(flat surface massage balls)

兩種技術都旨在改善和平衡「氣」的循環。從中醫的角度來看,當氣循環停滯不前時,會導致生理心理上的失衡、不和諧,甚至招來疾病。

肌肉使用不足或過度使用、重複性的運動、情緒壓抑或不良飲食,導致氣在體內鬱滯,經絡中累積的緊張會增加生理機體內之毒素滯留並且削弱免疫系統。

陰瑜伽中被動的、長時間停留的姿勢是舒展經絡的有效方法。在聯繫過程中我們能提高身體意識,並增強呼吸功能。

當我們一起使用陰瑜伽和穴位按摩時會起到加乘的效果,有助於釋放能量流到經絡中,並滋養所有身體系統的器官。聯繫後我們將在情緒和整體機能的舒適感之間取得平衡。
