Over the past 24 years Daniel has studied various forms of yoga including Iyengar, Hatha, Sivananda, Kundalini and other styles. He began his training to become a teacher in 2003 and has undergone 500+ hours of accredited yoga teacher trainings. He has traveled to India to deepen in his studies and practice, and has learned from students of Sivananda, BKS Iyengar and a former president of the Indian Yoga Association. His classes are a blend of these various traditions with an emphasis on connecting mind and body through the breath. He has taught yoga for 20 years now in the US, China, Morocco, Taiwan and Turkey. He currently practices acupuncture and massage at The Well and use his knowledge of Ayurveda to assist his patients on the path to towards health and wellness.
Description
Blending the traditions of Hatha and Iyengar yoga this class begins with gentle asanas and gradually shifts in to more challenging and vigorous postures. It ends with a deep savasana to integrate and leave one feeling calm and restored. All levels are welcome
