Description
This is a slow and mindful yoga class suitable for mixed abilities from beginners to those with experience. The class generally begins with a gentle body scan, checking in with the body and the breath. We then explore a few gentle somatic-inspired movements in a supine position (laying on the floor) followed by some hatha yoga postures and mindful movement in supine, seated, on all fours and in standing. Classes incorporate breath awareness and breathing practices and end with time for rest and relaxation.
Please bring a yoga mat to the class with you. You may also want to bring a blanket or cushion for extra support/comfort (optional)
