Join me for this monthly deep chill. We will take time to settle in using the breath with some pranayama (breathing techniques), moving into a deep stretching, long holding yin practice. We use lots of props in yin, so bring your cushions, bolsters, straps, blocks and pillows! You do not need any specific yoga props, I will always offer suggestions for alternative props such as a dressing gown chord in place of a strap, or a thick book in place of a yoga block. We will finish with a short yoga nidra session to find that space between sleep and wakefulness, a deep and relaxing meditation. This class is great for people who need some 'me' time, who are feeling stressed or struggling with sleeplessness. It is good for all levels/experience of yoga, as we move very, very slowly.
