Hello! I’m Connie and I’m a Mat and (soon to be) Reformer Pilates instructor. 🩰 Alongside my Pilates life I am also a professional dancer. I have been dancing my whole life and it was actually through my dance training that I found my love for Pilates. 💃 I began practicing Pilates alongside my professional training to help with injury prevention and to maintain good levels of flexibility, strength and alignment. -it also really helped me switch off from the craziness of dance college, and became my favourite ‘me time’ activity where I could focus on myself. I truly believe Pilates has something for everyone, whether it be injury rehab, helping postural problems or enhancing individual levels of strength, flexibility, alignment & mobility. It can also be a lovely way to switch off from the world and focus on yourself for an hour – something we all need to do more of! 💆‍♀️ These are just some of the reasons I am so passionate about sharing this form of exercise with as many people as possible, using my dancing background to influence my own style of Pilates classes. 🩷
