Description
This gentle morning yoga class focuses on waking up the body and mind in a calm and nurturing way. The session typically begins with quiet, meditative breath work to set an intention for the day and bring awareness to the present moment. Soft, fluid movements then follow, designed to release tension and gently stretch muscles that may feel tight or stiff after sleep.
Poses such as Cat-Cow, Child's Pose, and gentle twists warm up the spine, while slow hip openers like Butterfly Pose help to ease any lower body tightness. The pace remains relaxed, encouraging participants to move with their breath, allowing for modifications and pauses as needed.
The class often incorporates longer holds in restorative postures, using props for added support and relaxation. The sequence ends with a soothing Savasana or seated meditation, guiding students to a sense of groundedness and calm, setting a positive tone for the day ahead.
