Practicing both Yoga and Pilates for over a decade, Beth has a real love for encouraging others to become curious about the value of holistic practices. On the mat she specifically focuses on helping her students cultivate a sense of joy, confidence and body awareness; whether that comes in the form of understanding new ways to challenge themselves in Pilates, or taking steps towards true relaxation in Yoga. Formerly a journalist, Beth understands the pressure an intense career can put on the rest of your life. She decided to make the move to the wellness industry in 2022 by retraining in Pilates. She then travelled to Asia to undertake her 200hr Yoga Teacher Training, eventually returning to Edinburgh to share her skills. In addition to teaching, Beth is a certified Holistic Life Coach and MindBody Practitioner, supporting individuals in managing stress and finding balance and happiness in all areas of their lives.

Description

Fascia is the connective spiderweb of tissue that supports your muscles throughout the body. When the Fascia becomes too tight, it can restrict movement and create pain and discomfort through contortion of the muscles.

Embodying techniques such as self massage, ball rolling, gentle movement and stretching, we can alleviate discomfort and bring a sense of harmony to the whole body, inside and out! You will come away with techniques you can use daily to support your body and alleviate discomfort.
