Charles also has additional 40 hour certificates for Yoga Nidra and for Yin. Charles teaches a variety of styles (hot, power, flow, vinyasa, slow flow, gentle, foundation, yin, and restorative) and mostly all level classes and is known for his focus on alignment, detailed cueing, and working his students hard but always with love and support and a sense of humour.
Description
Yin Yoga comprises poses that are primarily mat-based, where stretches are held for three or more minutes to target connective tissue (joints, ligaments, tendons, etc.). More activation of your para-sympathetic nervous system — “rest and digest” — through the Yin practice, which results in a very restful experience yet with plenty of sensation, space creation, and freeing and shifting of energy throughout.
