Description
Get ready for a full body sweat.
This is an Ashtanga led class. Ashtanga (Vinyasa) Yoga is a dynamic and challenging practice created by K. Pattabhi Jois. The practice is flow-based in which breath and movement are synchronised. It is great for building core strength, increasing flexibility, burning calories, toning the body and increasing mental focus. Due to the continuous nature of this class, there is little or no time for detailed explanation, so understanding of basic poses is recommended.
Most of the postures in the primary series are covered during the sessions, some postures may be skipped due to time constraints. We recommend some yoga or Vinyasa experience to enjoy this class, but we welcome students who are new to Ashtanga to join the challenge on our mats.

Description
The session starts with a simple flow-based practice that develops muscular strength, endurance and flexibility. This is followed by Stretch, a slower practice where poses are passively held longer, focusing on the breath. This gives the body time to fully relax and open. The practice blends two styles of yoga into one practice, bringing together the benefits of passively holding poses and flowing in a more dynamic sequence.

Description
Our hip is one of the tightest areas in our bodies due to our modern lifestyle and long hours of desk-bound jobs. Activities like running, spinning and football make the hip tightness worse. When hips are tight or causing misalignment, it can have a big effect on our back, knees and even feet.
Engage in dynamic stretches, static holds and deep stretches in this class . Some static stretches are held longer to release tension. These practices help to improve the range of motion, flexibility and circulation in the hips. Some aspects and benefits of proper breathing and correct muscle engagement are also introduced.
This is a multi-levelled session as different variations of poses are given and props may be used. Beginners need not push deep into the stretches while regular practitioners can choose to push deeper into the stretches to enhance hip opening. Stretching to improve hip flexibility will also enhance your performance in advanced splits poses and other sports.

Note that this is a relatively milder flow, working on almost all the muscles groups. This is not a typical Vinyasa class. Some experience in yoga is recommended to enjoy this flow class more.
Our Signature I Flow class originated from the invigorating Sun Salutation, renowned for enhancing blood circulation, improving flexibility, and strengthening muscles and joints. While Sun Salutation primarily moves the body in the sagittal plane, our Signature I Flow is designed to engage all three anatomical planes—sagittal, coronal, and transverse.
This unique approach ensures comprehensive movement of your joints, maximising flexibility, strength, and overall health through a mild flow. Join us to explore the maximum potential in your body and experience holistic benefits from your yoga practice.

Description
Apart from being able to perform backbending postures in a safe and proper way, practising backbends brings about health benefits. Backbends stretch and expand the chest, therefore induce deeper breathing and increase oxygen levels in the blood, leading to higher metabolism rate. Backbends also create strength in all of the muscles of the back to improve postures.
In this class, you will learn drills to open your shoulders and hips, strengthen the muscles required to support and stabilise your back bends, and learn to use props correctly to reach backbend postures when required. Great class to target deepening your back bending postures. Preferably to have some experience in yoga so that you will enjoy this class more.
There will be some back bending postures which can be intense for beginners in yoga who are not flexible, however, you may use props like the wheel and strap to help you into deep stretch. In the long term, you will be able to improve flexibility in your shoulders, hips and spine.

Description
Our hips, shoulders and back are one of the tightest areas in our bodies due to our modern lifestyle and long hours of desk-bound jobs. Activities like running, spinning and football make the hip tightness worse.
In this class, different stretches and props are used to release the tension in the hips, shoulders and back. There will both dynamic movements and also some static stretches held longer to release tension. Some aspects and benefits of proper breathing and correct muscle engagement are also introduced. Feel soothed after the session after a whole body stretch.
This is a multi-levelled session as different variations of poses are given and props may be used. Beginners need not push deep into the stretches while regular practitioners can choose to push deep into the stretches to enhance hip opening and shoulder opening. Stretching to improve flexibility will also enhance your performance in advanced yoga poses and other sports.

Description
We recommend some yoga or Vinyasa experience to enjoy this class, but we welcome students who are new to Ashtanga Vinyasa to join the challenge on our mats.

Note that in the class, poses are held for longer periods in order for the tension to be slowly released. Some aspects and benefits of proper breathing is also introduced. Feel soothed after the session as the soreness from muscles tightness is reduced.

Description
Our hip is one of the tightest areas in our bodies. When hips are tight or causing misalignment, it can have a big effect on our back, knees and even feet. Engage in proper and effective warm up drills to improve the range of motion and circulation in the hips and shoulders. Indulge in deep hip stretches and practices in strengthening your glutes before attempting back bending postures.
Great class targeting to improve your splits and back bends. Preferably to have some experience in yoga so that you will enjoy this class more. Beginners and those who lack flexibility may find the class too intense.
There will be some back bending postures which can be intense for beginners in yoga who are not flexible, however, you may use props like the wheel and strap to help you into deep stretch. In the long term, you will be able to improve flexibility in your hips and spine.
Class is not suitable for those who have spinal condition such as degenerative spinal disc, sciatica and slipped disc.
