Root To RISE - An Imbolc Practice

Duration:
48 Minutes
The practice is inspired by Imbolc (Candlemas, Brigid's Day) the festival of Spring.
The nature world is slowly awakening and Spring energy is on its way, knowing there is new growth and life emerging from within the darkness; in the belly of the Mother Earth. The energy is being drawn up rising up from deep within and up through the roots to bring nourishment to the cherry blossom, leaves and snowdrops waiting to burst open with life!
This is where our intention comes in, to draw energy from our own root source of power to the rest of our body (our leaves and flowers if you will).
This practice is something I truly and deeply connect with, Imbolc is the expression of life, the root energy of safety and stability to show up and live life fully.
This is also the reminder of the beautiful harmonious relationship both within ourselves and within nature itself, as the trees exhale, we inhale and as we exhale, the trees inhale. The same is said when we draw energy from the root to nourish the calves, the space and support for calves in turn nourishes the pelvis our root.
It's a JUICY one!
