Are you also sick of online only content? Not being able to connect with people in real time, but everything happening via recordings? Do you feel the need to have more in your routine? to take care of your body, mind and soul on a regular basis?
If you are like me, and said yes to all of the above, then join us for a Monthly Self Care Yoga Program.
Program where we meet weekly, live via zoom, for a 1.5hr practise of various practises. Working on our mind, body and soul. Regular time each week, real humans to connect with via our group chat & recordings for when life gets in the way and you can't make it live.
Practises will include: Oracle reading, reflection, pranayama, meditation, journaling and movement.

Description
Time: Meeting at 20:00 to walk up to our spot, yoga starts at 20:10. Please be there at 20:00 - if youโre late at the meeting spot you will not be able to join in the class as it is not advised to join after a class has already started. Due to your physical safety and respect to other students.
First you need to create your own account on Momoyoga, then go back to the schedule on Momoyoga and register to the specific class by purchasing a class pass (named as product on Momoyoga)
During these 60 minutes we will not only discover these aspects in our physical movement and physical practise, but also in our mind and soul. โจ
Weather permitting - let us connect to nature, to our breath and our bodies through some yummy yoga movement.
In this class we will enjoy the natures sounds around us, while we bring movement to stretch, strengthen & relax our body & our mind.

Description
A class, a practise, movement - journey within. Through strengthening our bodies, helping them balance with flexibility as well as connecting to your soul and gentleness through meditation, you can reach a point of comfort in movement, in stillness and in silence.
This is a yoga class, but it isn't JUST a yoga class. In each class we move, we breathe, we connect and we explore. Join us to strengthen and expand the body, but also to find comfort and warmth within your heart space.
Join for 6 sessions or just drop in to one - choose what suits you best.
If there are a couple of sessions you cannot join in this 6 week period, just let me know and we can find a way to move your class pass to a different session.
5 sessions bundle - โฌ15.80 per session (โฌ79)
1 session drop in - โฌ18.80 per session
The Movement - Vinyasa part of the class is movement flowing with your breath, sometimes we go slower sometimes faster. I am guided intuitively based on how we all feel in the class to create a flow that suits us all. It is open to you if you are an experienced Yogi looking for more than just movement, and for you if you are just beginning your journey with movement.
*Doors to the studio will close promptly at 19:30, please come earlier to get yourself settled in for a prompt start without rushing.
*Please bring with you a journal for the optional journaling at the end of the class.
*Wear comfortable clothing for movement, there are changing rooms and toilets in the studio, you can also bring a bottle of water with you.

The intention for this ceremony is to slow down, come back to your heart, in a safe space of reflection, sharing and simply being. ๐

Why Cacao? (not cocoa)
Cacao is an amazing heart opening medicine. It consist of many minerals, magnesium and anti-oxidants that it will relax your muscles and tissues. Dropping from the mind to the heart. From thinking to feeling. The spirit of cacao ceremonies, invite you to come home to yourself. Coming back into alignment. ๐ธ
Why at Sunset? ๐
Sunset is not only about observing the beauty in the sky, but also about enjoying that quiet time, noticing stillness, how everything settles down and with it, you slowing down. A beautiful shift in the energy, a pause, a slowing down, a moment to be kind and gentle with yourself. A reminder that there is time to start & there is time to end, a lead into a deepfull resting time of the day. Like the sun teaches us, itโs necessary to dim our light, slow down and take rest. To take the light within and look more within. ๐ผ
And to these teachings, reminders, we will connect to the nature flow and embrace different properties of it all in each ceremony. โจ
With cacao, such a powerful heart medicine with such a beautiful and honest history, to guide us into that ๐
Good to know:
> it is the best to not drink any coffee at least 4 hours before the ceremony
> see if you can not eat anything at least 2 or up to 4 hours before the ceremony
> if you are pregnant or if you are taking anti-depression medication please consult your doctor before signing up. It is usually okay, just at a smaller dose, so please let me know if this applies to you.
> cacao will be made using the most authentic oldest recipe there is, please let me know if you have any allergies or aren't comfortable with any of these spices, then I will change it: water, ceremonial cacao, cayenne pepper, black pepper, cinnamon, panela sugar.
> If the weather doesn't allow it, you will receive 2 hours notice of any change and will be able to use the credit pass for the following ceremony OR we meet in my house for a beautiful indoor ceremony instead. We can decide on the day if it has to change from outside to inside.
> We meet at 20:15 at our location inside the park, I will WhatsApp you the exact location, sunsets at 21:17 then afterwards we will see how much longer we want to stay, latest 22:00.

Description
June 21 - Finally, the Summer Solstice has arrived in the Northern Hemisphere. Itโs time to celebrate the long awaited first day of summer โ the longest day of the year, and the ideal time to contemplate the power of the sun.
108 Sun Salutations is a great way to celebrate that. Each of the 12 asanas from the Sun Salutations co-relates to the 12 astrological sun signs in which the sun passes through in one year. Because the quality of solar energy changes every 30 days, we can harness the energy of this powerful practice to deepen our personal and spiritual growth, as well as heal our bodies and minds.
Simply completing one set of Sun Salutations floods the nervous system with solar energy, both balancing emotions and increasing higher cerebral activity.
But why 108?
Before you even think it, Iโll address the most common thought when the number 108 is thrown out there.
Yes โ 108 of anything is a commitment and a tad intimidating.
No โ itโs not impossible.
Yes โ anyone can do 108 sun salutations with the right intention, a strong breath, and a willingness to get a bit sweaty!
108 Sun Salutations to inhale in the good stuff, and exhale out the heavy stuff.
Why would I do a sun salutation, on repeat, 108 times?! Why would anyone do that to themselves ๐ And why should you consider subjecting yourself to it too?
Practicing 108 sun salutations is a tradition to celebrate seasonal shifts โ the equinoxes + summer solstices. Itโs a tradition to breathe consistently, move consistently, feel consistently, and in doing so, move past blockages, false beliefs, fears and whatโs no longer serving us. It is also an invitation to truly listen to your body, go at your pace, choosing what is right for you, rather than tapping into competition, speed and perfection.
Itโs a process.

Why 108 Repetitions:
The number 108 breaks down to:
1 = God or a Higher Truth
0 = Emptiness or Completeness
8 = Infinity or Eternity
There are 54 letters in the Sanskrit alphabet, each one has a masculine and feminine quality โ Shiva & Shakti โ 54 letters x 2 qualities = 108.
It is said there are 108 energy lines that converge to form the heart chakra, Anahata. The Chakras are energy lines within the body that start at the root and travel up through the crown of the head.
A mala necklace is an Eastern rosary used for mantras, chanting, and prayer โ it has 108 beads.
There are 108 Upanishads โ an ancient text that is highly revered in both Hinduism and Buddhism.
108 is a pretty important, and powerful number :)
A few important notes/tips to keep in mind during the practise:
- have water nearby
- modify โ modify โ modify aka. take the option that sets you up for success of 108 repetitions, not to do each perfectly, but most importantly to get to the end.
- get ready to sweat
- take breaks when I offer them & when you need them
- set an intention, goal or mantra to keep top of mind as you bend + breathe

- Skip the step back to plank, take a breath, move into downward facing dog, skip the upward dog and go from plank to down dog straight away
- Bring your knees down for chaturanga dandasana

Itโs a tradition to breathe consistently, move consistently, feel consistently, and in doing so, move past blockages, false beliefs, fears and whatโs no longer serving us. It is also an invitation to truly listen to your body, go at your pace, choosing what is right for you, rather than tapping into competition, speed and perfection.

Why 108 Repetitions:
The number 108 breaks down to:
1 = God or a Higher Truth
0 = Emptiness or Completeness
8 = Infinity or Eternity
There are 54 letters in the Sanskrit alphabet, each one has a masculine and feminine quality โ Shiva & Shakti โ 54 letters x 2 qualities = 108.
It is said there are 108 energy lines that converge to form the heart chakra, Anahata. The Chakras are energy lines within the body that start at the root and travel up through the crown of the head.
A mala necklace is an Eastern rosary used for mantras, chanting, and prayer โ it has 108 beads.
There are 108 Upanishads โ an ancient text that is highly revered in both Hinduism and Buddhism.
108 is a pretty important, and powerful number :)
A few important notes/tips to keep in mind during the practise:
- have water nearby
- modify โ modify โ modify aka. take the option that sets you up for success of 108 repetitions, not to do each perfectly, but most importantly to get to the end.
- get ready to sweat
- take breaks when I offer them & when you need them
- set an intention, goal or mantra to keep top of mind as you bend + breathe
