What is Ceremonial Cacao?
Ceremonial cacao, distinct from regular cocoa, is a remarkable heart-opening medicine rich in minerals, especially magnesium, and abundant antioxidants. ๐ These properties contribute to its unique ability to relax muscles and transition us from the realm of thought to the realm of emotion. Cacao's magnesium content promotes muscle and nerve function, while its antioxidants combat oxidative stress. This combination not only calms the body but also elevates our emotional state, facilitating a deeper connection within ourselves.
In the spirit of cacao ceremony, we embark on a journey to reconnect with ourselves, realign our energies, and pay homage to the wisdom of the Mayan ancestors who shared this precious knowledge. ๐ These ceremonies are an opportunity to express gratitude for the teachings of nature and for the beautiful souls that we are.
Whether it's your first sip or your hundredth, rest assured you'll be expertly guided. Ceremonial cacao is not a psychedelic; instead, it invites you to a profound inner experience. ๐ธ
What is Sound Meditation?
Sound meditation is the use of sound as a tool to cultivate and support deep relaxation. Ultimately, the purpose is to create a gentle, yet powerful, experience that heals the body, clears the mind and helps rein your attention to the present. Switch off your mind and tune into yourself.
Bring with you:
- Bottle of water, it is important to hydrate a lot more when consuming ceremonial cacao.
- Journal and Pen
- Optional, to bring something to add into the altar.
Preparation Tips:
- Avoid coffee (at least 4 hours before) and join on an empty stomach if possible (no food 2 hours before). You could just eat something lighter instead.
Contra-indications:
Let me know at least 48 hours before the event if any of these apply to you:
- Pregnancy or breastfeeding
- High blood pressure or a heart condition
- Use of SSRIs antidepressants

๐ธ Share from your own perspective: Use "I" statements to express your opinions, beliefs, and experiences, taking ownership of your unique point of view.
๐ผ Share when called to: Only contribute and share when you genuinely feel the inner calling to do so. You are in complete control of your participation and should never feel obligated.
๐ธ Listen from the heart: Listen attentively, without judgment, interruption, or offering unsolicited advice. Let this be a time of presence and deep listening.
