Marjolein is originally from the Netherlands and now based with her family in Aotearoa. She began her yoga journey in The Netherlands with a classical hatha training and continued following trainings and teaching classes around the world. She have completed Yoga Alliance registered trainings in classical hatha yoga, pre-and postnatal yoga, restorative yoga, yoga nidra and transformational yoga. She is a sincere yoga lover, dedicated mum, travel addict, foodie and nature lover at heart... Passionate about inspiring others to improve their wellbeing and live a joyful life.

Description

This gentle postnatal classes are designed to allow you to nurture & restore yourself after pregnancy and birth. Designed to help to enjoy some you-time with bubs in a safe and comfortable environment.

Each class will include gentle movements and stretches, breathing exercises and relaxation techniques.

+ Feed & Chat: mums can arrive already anytime after 10.10am to feed and settle bubs before class, while enjoying a cup of relaxing herbal tea and catch up with other local mama’s.

No yoga experience necessary.

Suitable for mums with baby from 6 weeks+ up to crawling.

The classes include:
- Movement, strengthening and relaxation, so you can leave feeling like a new person.
- Guided postures to strengthen and tone the core and pelvic floor muscles.
- Pranayama, breathing techniques.
- Relaxation tools, like Yoga Nidra
- Universal ideas for a harmonious life with the many challenges of motherhood.

This class is capped at max 7 spaces per class.

Yoga mats and props are provided, just bring a blanket for baby to lay on.
Capsules can be brought inside, and there is a dry/undercover space to park your pram.
