This will be an amazing opportunity to work with Penny Mansell a Clinical Psychologist and Mindfulness Teacher.
Starts 21/2/22 for 6 consecutive weeks at our Sumner studio.
This course will teach you the basic skills and concepts of Mindfulness. The focus is on the practical application of Mindfulness in daily life and there will be time in session for questions and practice. Mindfulness increases our awareness - of sensations, thoughts, emotions, and urges. It increases our self-reflective capacity and connection with our observing mind (which is more than our body, thoughts, or emotions). Mindfulness gives us the capacity to - STOP, PAUSE and CHOOSE how to respond to situations and experiences, reducing the likelihood of acting impulsively. Regular Mindfulness practice - increases our overall emotional stability and well-being, resources us to cope with life’s challenges, increases self-compassion and understanding of self and other, and supports us to live a life more attuned and aligned with our values and goals.
