Flo Cannon-Audley
Flo has spent many years studying and practicing yoga and meditation, creating more space in her life for balance, peace, autonomy and freedom.
She is a daughter, a sister, a mother, a wife. She is a producer, a yoga teacher, a doula, a photographer and an avid student of the human experience. She dreams of creating a full time retreat space someday somewhere warm.
The body's astonishing capacity to heal itself and the intrinsic wisdom it holds plays a key role in her personal practice and teaching. She is passionate about reconnecting people to tune into their own interoceptive wisdom to discover and empower the teacher within each and every one of us.
Flo discovered the wonder of yoga in 2006 and originally trained ten years later in Baron Baptiste's Power Yoga. Power Yoga is a great fitness practice with emphasis on alignment. She has since diversified after discovering Embodied Flow yoga, a school of somatic movement which is explored within the container of yoga. Embodied Flow combines deep philosophy (rooted in the school of tantra) and somatic freedom, with a very functional understanding of biomechanics and anatomy. She uses both schools to guide and inspire the practices she shares today.
Using meditation, asana, somatic movement and awareness of breath, she encourages you to explore your physicality in a way that grounds and enlivens, deepening the connection you have with yourself.
Flo will also share workshops which will include exploring full somatic movement and expression, nervous system regulation, support for families through her work as a doula and a more in depth workshop series, called Feel Your Flow, which will explore the ways in which yoga (and more) can support women during their menstrual cycle.
