Menopause should be a celebrated time in a womanโs life, but with greater demands placed on women, it can often be a worrying and rather challenging transition. Hormonal fluctuations can lead to unpleasant symptoms such as hot flushes, night sweats, general aches, brain fog and unpredictable mood swings ranging from feeling down to unbridled rage ๐ก.png to name but a few!
Slightly more hidden side effects of the body losing oestrogen include loss of muscle tone and strength and bone density.
In our Pilates for Menopause class we aim to tackle some of these symptoms through:

Pilates is effective for stress relief too as itโs all about the mind-body connection helping you to become more aware of how youโre feeling both physically, mentally and emotionally.
Our goal is to create a community of women to embrace this time of life and support each other whilst keeping a positive attitude and a sense of humour.
This class is suitable for women approaching menopause age (preparation is everything) through to post-menopause.
The class includes access to our community Facebook group where you can find useful information and share your experiences with others.
