Description
The birth and arrival of a new baby is a time of huge change and transformation- physically, emotionally and mentally. We often are given the "all clear" at 6 weeks to restart physical activity. But our bodies have changed through pregnancy, and continue to change, adjust and settle in the months after birth.
This post natal yoga class will help support you as a new parent with asanas that focus on helping you reconnect with your body and find acceptance and strength in its new form. We will focus on strengthening and regaining power in our cores and pelvic floor. We will work on movements that support our bodies and minds, as well as breathwork and mindfullness.
We will also work through the different feelings, emotions and sensations that can arise in the post partum period. Each class will finish with a relaxing savasana.
You will need to have been given the all clear from your medical professional to join the class (at least 6 weeks postpartum) but you can join us at any point in your postpartum period.
