PLEASE ARRIVE ON TIME

Immediately begin with 3 x Surya Namaskar A and 3 x Surya Namaskar B — this is your dynamic warm up, the rest of the class will be quite passive so please don’t waste time sitting, laying on a block or whatever else, just immediately start with Surya Namaskar A and B. From there come to sitting and equalize your breathing, wait for the teacher. We will practice hip openers in preparation for Supta Kurmasana in the primary series and Eka Pada Sirsasana, Dwi Pada Sirsasana and Yoga Nidrasana in the intermediate series. We end this with a short pranayama session, silent sit and Savasana.

The idea is to keep the Mysore classes a moving meditation, but you can always practice some shoulder openers or extra stretches before backbends and drop backs.
