Our Full Flow Yoga Takes its inspiration and core from the Ashtanga Yoga tradition (Pattabhis Jois, Founder). This style relies more on synchronized breathing with each movement to produce beautiful, flowing patterns of motion and energy. Full Flow techniques tend to be more vigorous than Slow Flow, and we generally recommend that students are capable of enduring a higher rate of physical activity in this class. White both Slow and Full Flow have a foundation in Sun Salutations, Full Flow is often considered the “most athletic style” of yoga. At first, the class might feel more like a workout, but eventually, not only will the body have slowed and calmed itself, but so will the breath, heart, and mind.
This full practice of yoga is appropriate for students who have prior experience in yoga asana (movement and poses).

Description
Kundalini Yoga (Kuṇḍalinī-Yoga) is a deeply spiritual practice rooted in the yogic and tantric traditions of Hinduism. It centers on awakening kundalini energy, symbolized as a serpent coiled at the base of the spine in the root chakra. Through practices like pranayama (breathwork), movement, meditation, and mantra chanting, this energy is guided upward through the chakras, culminating in the crown chakra at the top of the head.
This journey represents the union of Shiva and Shakti, leading to the blissful state of samadhi—a profound experience of spiritual awakening and self-realization. Kundalini Yoga is suitable for practitioners of all levels, offering a pathway to enhanced awareness, inner peace, and a deeper connection with yourself and the world around you.
Come prepared to explore this transformative practice and tap into your limitless potential.

Description
Open Your Mind & Heart: A Day of Yoga Practice
In this day-long workshop we will integrate yoga postures, breathing techniques, meditation and study, blending detailed physical alignment with practices to help you calm the mind and enjoy the beauty and ease of back bending practice.
You will learn to settle your mind, find space in your breathing, and establish a restorative meditation practice. This mind space allows your body to open into your life and yoga with ease.
It is primarily the physical aspects of the yoga tradition that people see and entertain when approaching a yoga practice. Much more important than the outer reflection of the yoga practice is the way we feel the postures in our breath, our energy body and our mental state.
According to Patanjali's Yoga Sutra, yoga asana has two important qualities: sthira and sukha.
-Sthira is steadiness, alertness and an unwavering presence of mind.
-Sukha, which translates as sweetness, refers to the ability to remain at ease and comfortable in the postures.
Both qualities need to be equally present or there is no practice of yoga asana. Moving with your breath, being in the reality of the moment by not pushing or pulling away from what is, will assist in maintaining these qualities throughout your yoga practice.
Kat Kelly will offer yoga, breathing and meditation practices throughout the day. In the afternoon we will practice meditation and study together as a group. We will learn tricks to make the yoga practice friendly and fun. We will explore how to practice in times of peace and also with challenges in our bodies, minds and relationships. Please join us for a day of contemplation, learning, quiet, community and study.
Investment in you is $150 for the day. Half day attendance morning or afternoon $90
I hope you can join me.
Schedule for the day
8:00 - 9:00 am - Pranayama and meditation practice
9:00 - 11:30 am - Yoga asana breakdown and practice
