Don't have much time or motivation to practice? Practice along this recording to get you started, or either as a practice by itself. Practicing the sun salutations and foundational poses (and then closing with backbends and the finishing poses) is a wonderful practice by itself.
Many seasoned Ashtanga practitioners regard it as a great maintenance practice that you can do at any day when you don't have much time, a lot of going on, or you have low energy levels.
There is a lot of gold in practicing the sun salutations and the foundational poses.
In this practice you will be led through the surya namaskaras and foundational poses with the traditional vinyasa count.
Practice the poses as you practice them in the Mysore class and foillow along. The teaching in the video does not explain how to get in out of a pose, this is taught in the Mysore classes themselves.
After the foundational classes you can either continue with the Primary or Intermediate Series or come to backbends and finishing poses.
I hope you find this recording beneficial.
Thank you for the "three amigos" as Nick (one of them) called out, for letting me film you for this resource.
