Duration:
1 Hour, 15 Minutes
During the introduction of this Mindful Meditation session, participants are reminded of ways to enhance their meditation practice, such as lighting incense or meditating with crystals.
Using crystals, such as clear quartz, can amplify intentions, balance energy, deepen meditation, enhance spiritual connection, support physical healing, and provide emotional support. Clear quartz, as mentioned, in particular, is known for its ability to enhance clarity, focus, and overall well-being. Many people find that using crystals enhances their spiritual connection during meditation. Clear quartz, for instance, is considered a "master healer" that can facilitate spiritual growth and awareness.
We proceed with Sincere Bowing Meditation, performing 49 bows aimed at purifying the seven chakras within our bodies—7 bows for each chakra. Following this, we engage in opening exercises designed to release tension from the neck and waist down, allowing us to sit more comfortably and enjoy our meditation practice.
During the sitting meditation, participants are guided to connect and meditate with their three internal main energy centers (the 3 Dahn Johns - second, fourth, and sixth chakras) and the external energy centers of their palms. The focus is on sensitizing and feeling the Ki energy of these centers. This type of a meditation practice can give you an experience of profound physical, emotional, mental, and spiritual transformation as you focus on connecting with and sensitizing the three main internal energy centers and the energy centers of your palms.
We conclude the session with a healing hands self-loving body massage and a sharing time.
Note: Besides the insights shared briefly on the recording, about the yawning, here is more to expand awareness and knowledge about the yawning experience during meditation or somatic exercises in our practice as it is very common, natural and beneficial response.
Benefits of Yawning:
Improved Focus and Concentration: Yawning increases oxygen flow and resets the brain, improving mental clarity and focus.
Enhanced Relaxation: The relaxation response triggered by yawning deepens the state of calm and tranquility.
Better Breath Control: Yawning encourages deep, full breaths, which improve breath control and lung capacity.
Emotional Release: Yawning helps release emotional blockages, promoting emotional well-being.
Physical Alignment and Posture: Yawning relaxes muscles and reduces tension, improving physical alignment and posture.
