In this energizing Healing Yoga session, we have lots of fun opening up the entire body, starting with dynamic standing positions that focus on the upper body.
We begin with gentle neck rotations, progressing through stretches with arms overhead and arching the back, activating and expanding the chest and shoulders.
With shoulder bouncing and even a bit of hopping, we fully energize the upper body, awakening energy flow and leaving us feeling lighter and more open.
With our upper bodies more energized, we then shift our focus to opening the lower body, moving from gentle activations to deeper, more intense stretches. We work through a variety of movements that engage the hips, legs, core, glutes, and lower back, transitioning from standing to floor-based positions and exercises on our backs.
To further enhance our practice, we incorporate crossing-over exercises and coordination movements, which not only boost physical flexibility and balance but also stimulate brain health. These exercises help improve neural coordination, enhance cognitive function, and promote overall mental clarity.
The session is tailored for all levels, offering modifications for beginners while providing more intense variations for those seeking a challenge. This ensures that everyone can find their own flow and comfort level.
We wrap up with a well-deserved relaxation, allowing the body to sink deeper into a state of rest and openness, integrating all the benefits from the practice.
During sharing time, participants reflect on different types of release experienced throughout the practice, including emotional release and strong activation of energy, which leads to internal shaking and vibrations in the body. One participant, recovering from COVID, notes how much more energy she can feel now and expresses feeling significantly better.
Overall, the session leaves everyone with a renewed sense of vitality and a deep feeling of "Feeling Better Now."
