This Healing Yoga Session is a thoughtful combination of standing and floor exercises designed to release tension in the areas we hold it most—shoulders, chest, back, hips, and legs.
We begin with upper body joint warm-ups, including fun coordination exercises that engage both the body and brain, boosting focus and balance.
The session incorporates Plate Balancing exercises, which improve core stability, upper body joint health, posture, and overall body awareness while adding a playful element to the practice.
The class transitions into a series of stretches for the upper body, sides, legs, and hips, followed by using a yoga block to release tension from the base of the skull and activating acupressure points in this area, which can relieve headaches, reduce neck stiffness, and promote relaxation.
We shift focus to the lower body with exercises to improve circulation through legs and arms shaking. This is complemented by a longevity pose to stretch hamstrings and open the kidney and bladder meridians, fostering vitality and internal balance as we breathe deeply into the core.
The session concludes with a mindful body scan, guiding you to relax every part of your body, followed by time for reflection and heartfelt sharing.
This class offers a holistic approach to releasing tension, restoring energy, and promoting a sense of inner peace.
