Owner and certified RYT 500 instructor Jennifer Green is a retired USAF veteran, who served as a medic and later earned her nursing degree specializing in emergency medicine & trauma. Jennifer is a passionate advocate for the education and development of neuroplasticy behind the yoga practice and the integration of these practices as an adjunct and complimentary practice to traditional medical, physical & mental health therapies. Her work is grounded in deep understanding of the neuroscience and biology of trauma and the impact of stress on the body and mind. Looking to create a strong living foundation for mind and body? This class focuses on building physical and mental strength, stamina and stability with holding active standing poses for longer periods of time. This unique class is a complete workout for mind and body~building strength and flexibility with 30 minutes of mindful movement emphasizing balance, breath and alignment principles followed by a decadent 30 minute restorative practice with lots of props to support the body fully allowing ease of body and mind and for deep internal reflection and nervous system shift into rest.
